Overview
What is pigeon net?
Pigeons settle where they find a ledge, shade and a quiet corner. In apartments that usually means the balcony, the AC outdoor unit, the window sill or the shaft between two towers. Once they start nesting, the droppings, feathers and noise come back every day.
A pigeon net closes that opening so the birds simply cannot get in. It is the most common request we get from flat owners, and it is a protection method, not a trap: birds are kept out, not harmed.
Where it is used
- Apartment balconies
- Windows and sills
- AC outdoor unit areas
- Ducts and shafts
- Utility and drying areas
- Open staircase gaps
How we approach it
Measured to your opening
Every balcony is a different size and shape, so the net is cut and fixed to the actual space, not a standard sheet.
Light and see-through
The aim is to stop pigeons while keeping your view, light and air flow as open as possible.
Neat edge fixing
The net is anchored along the frame so there are no loose gaps at the corners where birds could push through.

Full galleryPigeon Net: common questions
Will a pigeon net block air or light?
Netting is an open mesh, so air and light still pass through. The look depends on the net colour and mesh you choose, which we discuss before installation.
Can you net a balcony on a high floor?
Yes, high-rise balconies are a common job. Share the floor and the balcony size when you enquire so we can plan the installation.
Do I need to clean the balcony first?
It helps if old nests and droppings are cleared before the net goes up, so you start with a clean, protected space.
