Overview
What is bird spike?
Not every bird problem needs a net. When pigeons sit on a ledge, parapet wall, AC unit top, signboard or pipe, spikes stop them from landing there comfortably.
Bird spikes do not trap or injure birds. They remove the flat surface, so the birds look for somewhere else to sit.
Where it is used
- Window ledges
- Parapet walls
- AC outdoor unit tops
- Signboards
- Pipes and beams
- Boundary walls
How we approach it
For surfaces, not openings
Spikes are used where birds sit, while nets are used where birds enter.
Low visual impact
Spike strips sit along the edge and are hard to notice from below.
Works with netting
Often combined with a net when a property has both ledges and openings.
